- Prepared Mazuri® Lorikeet Diet is designed to be an essential part of a total feeding system. If desired, supplementation with appropriate food items can be done at up to 20% of diet as fed.
- Never feed dry powder without first combining with water.
- Mix, by weight, 80% room temperature water to 20% Mazuri® Lorikeet Diet. Adjust mixture to meet desired texture and need.
- Do not use hot or boiling water.
- Do not microwave mixed product.
- Measuring of powder by weight is recommended.
- Mix thoroughly with a fork and whisk.
- Product may be offered for up to 12 hours. In very hot and humid environments, it’s recommended that feed bowls be changed more frequently.

Mazuri® Lorikeet Diet has a 1 year shelf life in the dry powder form when stored in a dry environment. For best results, tightly affix lid on canister after removal of desired dosage or store contents of open bag in container with sealing lid. Store in a cool (75°F or colder), dry (approximately 50% RH) location. The mixed product should be stored under refrigeration where it keeps for up to 24 hours. Do not use mixed product stored at room temperature longer than 3 hours.
