Mazuri® Waterfowl Breeder diet can be fed as a major part of the birds’ daily food intake during the breeding season (spring months). If supplementation is desired, species-appropriate food items should be provided at no more than 20% of the total dietary intake (as is basis).
The feed can be offered ad libitum to mature birds 2 to 4 weeks before breeding season. Adult birds should eat in the range of 25-30 grams/kg of body weight each day, depending on species size.
Scatter directly on the water, where it will float, or it can be fed in a long, shallow trough, which will prevent the food from floating away from the birds.
Storage Conditions
For best results, store contents of open bag in container with sealing lids. Store in a cool (75°F or colder), dry (approximately 50% RH) location. Use within 1 year of bag manufacturing.
